Top Priority Studying
PowerShell in a Month of Lunches
James Petty, Travis Plunk, and Tyler Leonhardt (building on the original work by Don Jones and Jeffery Hicks).
- Really good book for learning the fundamentals for PowerShell and familiarizing yourself with automation.
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800/801)
Scheduled to retire on September 30, 2026 in favor of AZ-802
- Certification to reinforce my skills on AD DS, Hybrid Managment (limited experience with Azure), Management of VMs (Hyper-V and Azure VMs).
Studying in my spare time, still things I am passionate towards.
Mainly Security work
Hack The Box Certified: Certified Web Exploitation Specialist - CWES
- With my minimal background in web security, I figured it would be nice to at least get a cert for it.
- Always really enjoyed Bug Bounties and web based CTFs
What is next
Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
Bridging the gap for myself to really get into EntraID/Hybrid Identity
Learning Powershell Scripting in a Month of Lunches
James Petty, Don Jones and Jeffery Hicks
- Sequel to Learn Powershell in a Month of Lunches.
- As I am wrapping up the first book, this one will dive into really writing scripts.
- Already more or less familiar with PowerShell through experiencce, but running through the mindset of a professional is something I need to harden my skills.
